With the participation of citizens and scientists, the project aspires to strengthen knowledge, care, and the sustainable management of Andros\u2019 water resources. Today, facing the challenges of climate change, overexploitation of aquifers, and the abandonment of traditional knowledge, the need for systematic documentation and rational water management is more urgent than ever.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"471\" data-end=\"498\">\ud83c\udfaf Project Objectives<\/h3><p data-start=\"500\" data-end=\"522\">The project aims to:<\/p><ul data-start=\"523\" data-end=\"832\"><li data-start=\"523\" data-end=\"584\"><p data-start=\"525\" data-end=\"584\">systematically map the springs and streams of Andros,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"585\" data-end=\"661\"><p data-start=\"587\" data-end=\"661\">create an open database for monitoring the island\u2019s water resources,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"662\" data-end=\"746\"><p data-start=\"664\" data-end=\"746\">engage the local community through volunteer and educational activities, and<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"747\" data-end=\"832\"><p data-start=\"749\" data-end=\"832\">disseminate knowledge through scientific research and cultural data-end=\"312\"><p data-start=\"129\" data-end=\"312\">Establishing an Advisory Board, composed of expert scientists and representatives of local authorities, to and provide scientific support for the project.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"313\" data-end=\"442\"><p data-start=\"315\" data-end=\"442\">Installing meteorological stations and recording weather data, in order to document the dynamics of Andros\u2019 microclimate.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"443\" data-end=\"545\"><p data-start=\"445\" data-end=\"545\">Developing a digital platform for recording and publishing data on springs and surface waters.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"546\" data-end=\"691\"><p data-start=\"548\" data-end=\"691\">Conducting a volunteer recruitment and training campaign, enabling volunteers to systematically take measurements and field observations.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"692\" data-end=\"833\"><p data-start=\"694\" data-end=\"833\">Documenting oral testimonies about the springs of Andros, with the aim of preserving and highlighting local knowledge and experience.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"834\" data-end=\"1017\"><p data-start=\"836\" data-end=\"1017\">Conducting an international literature review on the traditional practice of \u201cspring cultivation\u201d and situating the Andros experience within the broader international context.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1018\" data-end=\"1136\"><p data-start=\"1020\" data-end=\"1136\">Designing an environmental education program for teachers and schools, in collaboration with KEPEA Andros.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1137\" data-end=\"1275\"><p data-start=\"1139\" data-end=\"1275\">Implementing a communication campaign and producing audiovisual material to disseminate the project\u2019s results to the wider public.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1276\" data-end=\"1424\"><p data-start=\"1278\" data-end=\"1424\">Preparing a final report with conclusions and recommendations for local water management policies,
