As part of the Cycladic Identity initiative of the Museum of Cycladic Art, two important projects submitted by our organization were selected for support, following evaluation by the initiative’s Scientific Committee, for the periods 2023–2024 and 2025–2026.

As our second project, dedicated to the Andros lemon, draws to a close, we had the pleasure and honour of participating, as a member of the Cycladic Identity community of selected organizations, in a three-day capacity-building seminar held in Paros from 17–19 April 2026.
The seminar brought together civil society organizations from across the Cyclades, providing opportunities to build connections, exchange experiences, and strengthen our skills through storytelling sessions, interactive workshops, field visits, and meetings with local producers and community organizations in Paros.
During the visit, we had the opportunity to learn about the history and significance of the Ancient Marble Quarries of Paros and the ongoing efforts to protect and promote this remarkable heritage through a project supported by Cycladic Identity. We also attended an engaging discussion with members of the local community on the relationship between education and local production, featuring contributions from secondary school teachers and students, among others.
We warmly thank the Museum of Cycladic Art for its invitation and generous hospitality. We returned with valuable knowledge, inspiring experiences, and most importantly the opportunity to connect with dedicated people from outstanding organizations across the Cyclades, laying the foundations for meaningful collaborations in the near future.
